Yes.
2. Will this ROM encrypt my data partition?
No, but a custom kernel may. Anyways, always backup your files.
3. Do I need H2OS 2.5 firmware before flashing this ROM?
No. The firmware is included in this full ROM.
4. Will custom kernels work with this ROM?
Yes, as long as the kernel works with h2os 2.5.

Uhm, just flashed this in op3, first the ROM then the zip from op3t to op3, and it encrypted my storage.
