Will lead to massive bugs.

Example, dont kill sensors if you need them.

Its not user proof app, its can be dangerous in wrong hands, same as many rooted app.

Still its can be great, just think before doing changes. Ask dev if you dont understand something.
Franco always helps.

Then install recovery via bootloader.
Then install exposed if you wish, root if you wish!
Boot with stock kernel.
See that all ok.
Reboot to recovery, and install my kernel if you wish.
Boot, enjoy.

Excellent advice on both counts

So i will just wait few weeks till OP3T devs will settle down... say that N is more or less stable and not need any more long BETA tests.

I am watching all kernel threads, always looking for users reports, to understand if it's time to switch to N.

Kernel for N last update is less broken, just few mods needed to build it, and fix few issues that OP3T devs just ignore, no matter how many devs asked to fix.

They also ignore all security patches that can be added, and some fixes for common code.

All N devs do that for them, my kernel will be not much different, i like to push deeper in too updates, other devs consider it not necessary. and i respect that

Any way, kernel for N will be made in few weeks if things looks stable. i will have to find a way to live without exposed.

I am too an xposed fan and you have put life into 3.5.4 OOS I am to o waiting for xposed as it makes ANY ANDROID Version near to perfect. Although I am too eagerly waiting for Nougat to settle down on OP3T or an xposed whichever is earlier. Cheers to your kernel

What do you think about these kernel tweaks?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/one...weaks-t3476589

I dont know if it would be useful in combination with your kernel.

I dont know if it would be useful in combination with your kernel.

What ever its was, its was deleted.
We may tune default interactive config.
So far i didnt had any need to do so.

Cpu performance is great with this device.
Cpu gov keeps the freqs in low ranges when there is no load. And that is very good for battery saving.
We can tune it to jump higher on each quick task, but its will not add some huge UI / App performance, just burn more power. As ui is smooth no matter what.

not for speaker! as it's very loud in stock. and i guess increasing will damage it. but you can decrease...

kernel contain code to mod sound gain.

can be tuned easy with FLAR2 kernel app for cost...

or wait till i add simple kernel app to do it.

or mod it via command line (script/or some app that allow root access to cmd/ or using adb shell)

Code:
cd /sys/kernel/sound_control

to see what configured:
grep . *

root@OnePlus3T:/sys/kernel/sound_control # grep . *
grep . *
headphone_gain:0 0
headphone_pa_gain:0 0
mic_gain:0
speaker_gain:0
root@OnePlus3T:/sys/kernel/sound_control #

============================================================
echo 2 > /sys/kernel/sound_control/speaker_gain

will reduce! gain to speaker by 2dB

============================================================

for head phones you can increase or decrease:
echo "2 2" > /sys/kernel/sound_control/headphone_gain
(stereo channels)

range is min -84 max 20

for mic:
mic range -10 to 20

echo 2 > /sys/kernel/sound_control/mic_gain

make sure you test your changes!
changes will be reset after each boot. (for now)

I dont know if franco kernel r5 did any ramdisk changes.
Best option is to flash stock kernel img via recovery , using the image flash to boot!
Then install root if you need. Boot rom.
To see that all ok.
Wait 1min, reboot to recovery and flash my kernel. Boot.
Enjoy.
