Thanks master Dori for this great kernel, everything runs very well for now.
only thing I noticed is that button led can't turn off now?
The most stable 0.1 version I've seen

btw can I format cache to F2FS with this kernel? or does that make any sense?
Thanks again.

actually LED will go off after 6sec. default was 2.
it's can be tuned. i will add it to dorimanx app when i get it to work
so much to do.

for now you can change the timeout by setting it once after each boot using any terminal or some app that allow to run root commands to kernel.

control is here
/sys/class/misc/btk_control/btkc_timeout
*
* timeout in seconds from 1 - 30
* (0 = rom is taking care of the timeout)

so you can do:
echo 2 > /sys/class/misc/btk_control/btkc_timeout
or more or just 0 to let rom to control it.

About cache to f2fs, nee dont bother. it's not used that much, maybe just on apps install, with such I/O power, there will not be any difference.

sadly not in near future, as i cant test anything. it's has different config structure, different drivers, to get it to work as should i will have to work with someone that has this model, and probably will be some mess
before it's will work.

kernel for OP3 stock is OLD compared to OP3T, so i will have to build it's from stock to now, maybe loosing features on the way.

When i will finish all i have planed for OP3T mostly user interface app and other tuning, i will try to help OP3 owners too.

Thanks for the reply.
I set it to zero to let ROM control it.
But the back light turned constantly on when I set settings/buttons/backlight to off
So maybe I'll just leave it to default value XD
Take your time, not big issue, just little preference.

in that case use this:

/sys/class/misc/btk_control/btkc_mode

* 0: normal mode, touch key lights controlled by rom only
*
* 1: touch key buttons only - touch key lights only active
* when touch keys pressed
*
* 2: Off - touch key lights are always off

echo the number you prefer. to that control. once after boot.

on boot it's set to 1 and delay to 6

if you like great sound with your device!

check the new Aries sound system thread.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/and...earch-t3379709

i have uploaded file that i use now, but it's seems to be old. i will try the latest build from aries team, and update my post if all OK.

I will use the
ARISE+Deuteronomy+2.94+Modular+AROMA+Installer.zip

and install the viper module with highest quality. never needed any other custom stuff from other brands like sony and htc. they always brake something...
Maybe its safe to use now, dont know for sure

Alert! our stock ROm is taking all the system storage space.!

So to install ARISE sound system first delete CHROME + MAPS apps from system/app
install them to data if you need.

so system will have at minimum 150mb free.

have fun.

Thx for this lovely surprise, I was literally hoping that someone must provide an updated kernel for MM 3.5.4,it was actually overdue. You rock and hope to have a long relationship here...

Oh hello

I see you are driving the OP3! great! then you can import all that you like from my source (all should work just fine) just dont port the kernel patches from 3.18.21 to 3.18.48
as i made changes there to fix some things that got broken by them, and i had many patches added already before i merged official bundle patches.
so much is skipped from the commits.

If you wish you can use the official kernel patches store and update manually. all the rest should work just fine
https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v3.x/incr/

So we can offer support for both models.

Happy to see you too!

not yet. working on it.

much to do, and not much time left after day of work.

for now you can use kernel auditor app, it's has 80% of tweaks inside including profiles that you can set and more.
