I recently installed Viper4Android FX (V 2.7.1.0) as Magisk Module. The Driver is installed but when playing something via Youtube or Poweramp (yes, I have disabled the direct output option in Poweramp!) V4A still shows "Processing: NO" .
I moved the audio_effects.conf files from /magisk/v4a/system/etc/audio_effects.conf to /magisk/v4a/system/vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf but that has not fixed it either.
I have 2 files in that folder now. One audio_effects.conf and one audio_effects.xml .
Device: Oneplus 6
Rooted: Yes (using Magisk 19.2)
Custom ROM: latest Syberia OS
Viper4Android FX (v. 2.7.1.0) installed as Magisk Module
My SELinux is "enforced" . I read somewhere that it needs to be "permissive" ?
So perhaps that is the issue here I have??
Is V4A only working proberbly with SeLinux in "permissive" mode??
Then I will install another Kernel on my Device and set it to "permissive" and try again.
Thanks in advance!
OK now I have some more information.
It is working fine with the internal Speaker and with Headphones connected via cable but when connecting a Bluetooth device it is not working and processing shows as NO . I tried with 2 different Bluetooth devices.
Any idea how I get this to work with Bluetooth?
Are there any special settings needed?
EDIT: I really didnt get this to work through Bluetooth and now I can imagine that the issue here is something with the Syberia OS ROM so I will give it a try on another custom ROM soon.
EDIT2: Now I tried with V4A Legacy Magisk module and there it is working with Bluetooth as well. Not really perfect but it works at least.
