There's one for 8.1.0 OxygenOS and another for 8.1.0 custom roms. Make sure you flash the correct version.

@franciscofranco Hi Francisco the latest version of the kernel has problems with Omni ROM because with the latest version of this kernel it does not let me activate WiFi.
Why?

Is there a big difference between using Franko's kernel and the original OOS kernel in terms of battery?
I'm in OOS B7

Just installed the r29 on OOS 5.1 for the first time. If I increase the headphone gain (tried 4 - 12 in the app), the volume balance shifts to the left channel with increasing gain volume playing music from spotify. Anyone experiencing the same?

Installation failure in TWRP:
Installing fk29 or fk28 kernels:
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
Error installing zip file '/sdcard/fk-r29-anykernel2.zip'

I tried re-downloading the kernel's twice without success.

ROM is RR Unofficial 5/11 build, which installed without issues. Previously on a 4/29 build I was able to install both r28 and r29 without issue.

ERIC

Edit: Autoflashing worked from the manager, no idea why.

Hey. How's the battery life with this kernel? I just bought the OnePlus 5t and realized that the battery falls rather fast. It would be great if this kernel had great battery life. Does it support dash charge?

it supports everything what stock kernel does, battery life is comparatively better, flagships usually tend to have smaller batteries and monster like CPU and GPU, so.
