    MIUI 10 v8.6.11 and below are severely hot. If you are using MIUI 10, it is Highly recommended to upgrade 8.6.12+ !!

    Flashing Instructions


    I am not responsible for any damage

    * MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR DEVICE *
    ** DECRYPT DEVICE BEFORE INSTALLING **

    1. Install TWRP (if you haven't already)

    2. Decrypt the device
    *** You WILL lose ALL INTERNAL DATA ***
    [ Boot TWRP --> WIPE --> FORMAT DATA --> TYPE (YES) ]

    3. Reboot recovery

    4. Swipe Factory Reset

    5. Flash MIUI 9 v8.5.31: Download

    6. Reboot device and complete Initial setup.

    7. Use Google Installer v3 to install GApps: GApps Installer Download

    8. Login to play store download any app from it.

    9. Boot Into twrp again.

    10. Flash MIUI 10 (DIRTY FLASH )
    **** Do NOT wipe anything ****

    11. Reboot device and Enjoy.

    You can't remove certain system apps due to dependencies. I made a small twrp script to debloat the chinese apps. For some reason, the debloter works only after the initial setup and i am still refining it. Kindly make sure to have the Gboard apk handy as the default Soguo keyboard is uninstalled aswell.

    Ok I installed it date 24/04/2018 version. This ROM is working very great. I'm turning it into my daily driver.


    I really miss the swipe fingerprint to get notifications panel thing from oxygen OS . DON'T really miss face unlock because Bluetooth unlock in miui is just about as good.


    Bugs:

    OTG And MTP broken (but you can boot to TWRP to do those)

    Local Music files can't play

    Alert Slider Broken (but MIUI has easy enough way to silent phone)

    GOOD JOB DEV:

    Camera working

    Fingerprint working

    Full Screen Guestures working

    All connectivity (WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE, Calls etc.) Working

    Uses Global version of MIUI with Google Play rather than Chinese version(even Google Assistant Works)

    So much more mad love for HitoLiu. Hope he sees my appreciation.
