Ok maybe I wouldn't say "drain" my bad... I have flashed and tested both but I lose more battery with Blu spark than Radioactive... Plus Blu spark has no sound control
Ok, I agree with the lack of sound control concern. The dev is stubborn regarding this, although the sound control doesn't cause any issue, but meh, it's his kernel.Ok maybe I wouldn't say "drain" my bad... stock is good yes. I was having high idle from some 'doze_time_tick' alarm and was trying to see if custom kernel would fix. But it didn't, so returned to stock. What's up! Good that you are in this forum, I would personally tell you to first try the Stock kernel in my op6t, as I have it now and it is giving me very good results.
On the other hand, in this order I give you my recommendations: blue spark, radioactive, omega and mcd

I don't think so, look at the date of latest release... i think its eol now
Yeah thats why I was confirming.I don't think so, look at the date of latest release... i think its eol now
Try mcd kernel... it's still being maintained...Radioactive kernel is also good...and there's also new release of cleanslate kernel that you want to try...and btw...you can always underlock cpu speeds with kernel manager apps like for ex. Franco kernel app...or other apps like that.Yeah thats why I was confirming.
Any kernel suggestions for battery performance. Want to underclock the system.
Main focus is too keep thermal in check
I have already done that underclock with Franco app. Was looking for optionsTry mcd kernel... it's still being maintained...Radioactive kernel is also good...and there's also new release of cleanslate kernel that you want to try...and btw...you can always underlock cpu speeds with kernel manager apps like for ex. as of today, mcd is the only kernel that allows gpu underclocking! as for franco kernel, build support ended with android pie afaik! mcd, radioactive, blu_spark and cleanslate are the only kernels available for op6 series!I have already done that underclock with Franco app. Was looking for options
