There is a new official TWRP but I recommend an excellent unofficial one by @joemossjr at https://forum.xda-developers.com/one...overy-t3813317 I have installed it successfully numerous times using the following method:

The unofficial TWRP by @joemossjr has working haptic, brightness and MTP

If you already have Official TWRP 3.2.2-0 installed, you can install the new zips from your TWRP but remember if you had Magisk before, to reboot TWRP and flash Magisk again
  • NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE STOCK OOS 5.1.5 through 5.1.11 or DP3
  • NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER
  • NOTE: I HAVE NOW PERSONALLY TESTED THAT THIS METHOD WORKS IF YOU HAVE OOS 5.1.6, 5.1.7 or 5.1.11
  • NOTE: FASTBOOT MUST BE INSTALLED AND TESTED ON YOUR PC
  • NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE MAGISK 16.x ZIP ON YOUR PHONE.
*** YOU MUST FOLLOW ALL STEPS EXACTLY ***
  • Download twrp-3.2.3-0-enchilada.img from the above site to your pc
  • Download twrp-installer-enchilada-3.2.3-0.zip from the above site to your phone
  • Hook phone to pc USB with factory red cable (or other usb-c cable that you have tested)
  • Reboot phone into bootloader
  • On your pc, go to the location where you downloaded the twrp-3.2.3-0-enchilada.img image
  • Type fastboot devices to make sure that you get a response showing your phone and serial number
  • Type fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3-0-enchilada.img
  • Your phone will boot into twrp YOU WILL BE ASKED TO ENTER YOUR PIN/PATTERN/PASSWORD.
  • From twrp, install the twrp-installer-enchilada-3.2.3-0.zip that you downloaded on your phone
  • Disconnect your phone from the pc
  • Reboot twrp back into recovery. You should now be rebooted to the new twrp.
  • If you had magisk installed, then flash magisk again or you will bootloop back to twrp

If you have TWRP already installed, I have personally tested the following as long as you have twrp-installer-enchilada-3.2.3-0.zip on your phone:
  • Download full (not incremental) OOS ROM to your phone and check MD5
  • Reboot to your installed TWRP
  • Install the OOS ROM
  • Do not reboot instead stay in TWRP
  • Install twrp-installer-enchilada-3.2.3-0.zip
  • Reboot Recovery
  • Install Magisk if you wish to keep root
  • Wipe cache
  • Reboot System to active slot

If I'm installing oos through twrp , do I install the twrp image afterwards to keep TWRP, or do I install the twrp installer, or both?

As I said, this is for those who have stock 5.1.5 OOS.

Awesome, now I am on official twrp. Everything works as it should.
btw, original cable is not necessary to use, I am using wsken magnetic one and everything works.
Would be handy to have all the link in this thread.

My question was in general. If I want to clean flash 515 do I install the image afterwards or the installer zip or both I didn't say nothing about 516
