Introducing Beast-kernel
For the OnePlus 6& 6T

Stock oos only

Features
wireguard support
K-lapse
Flar2 sleep/wakegesture features
vfs_cache_pressure set to zero by default
Maple IO Scheduler set to default
Westwood TCP Congestion Profile set to default (Personal preference)
CRC Check Toggle-able (disabled by default)(~%30 performance boost when disabled)
Boeffla's LED Notification(only for op6)
Boeffla's Wakelock Blocker
Tbalden's KCAL modifications
Power Efficient Workqueue
Gpu overclock(846mhz)
Gpu underclock(180mhz)
updated to the latest kernel version 4.9.179
merged kernel update to be inline with caf code( LA.UM.7.3.r1-07800-sdm845.0 )
aniur dsp mod enabled through kernel.

Interesting, but unless I'm missing something, this looks like the exact description from Holydragon kernel. What are the differences if you don't mind me asking?

Edit. Minus K-lapse....which is something that I have absolutely grown dependent on

you sir are correct, this is based off of his kernel. some of the features are from his work.
but ive made changes like sched/fair.c: Don't allow SchedTune boosted tasks to be migrated to small cores , overclock, k-lapse and a whole bunch of stuff. look at my commits on gitlab and you'll see whats different.

Have you experienced any problems with gpu oc? A previous kernel I was using, it turned out to be something that caused some issues with a minority of devices.


I've flashed, so far so good. Everything is smooth and snappy.

I personally haven't had not one single issue with gpu oc, I stead of adding more gpu tables I kept the original and modified them. In my opinion adding those new tables causes a bug but like I said that's my speculation.
