Basically what I do, I only care about the root to be able to then install the MoD to have the stereo sound,, without creating problems on the phone.

Hi I'm looking to get better battery life and have been told to root and install the elementalx kernel.

I know I need to unlock the bootloader, install twrp recovery and then root and it looks like this tool is the easiest way.

My question is though after all that is done I will i need to go back into twrp to install the kernel so does that mean I have to use this tool to install twrp again and every time before want to change something? As I think I read twrp doesn't stay on the device like it does on the previous devices I have owned (originalbNexus 5)

Also can I use this tool to revert back to stock so unroot and lock bootloader? If so is there anything I need to save or backup before hand?

Thanks.

If asked click yes on the pop up will ask you to reboot in bootloader-fastboot mode.

Before all of this be sure you have enabled oem unlock and debug usb

must be doing something bad but

partition A keep booting in recovery
Partition B boot normally but don't see magisk being installed anywhere

From everything I've gathered I don't think so. The t-mobile variant needs to be carrier unlocked. And that's not covered in the scope of things here. Unfortunately for now it's going to be 100% manual method.

Follow the guides and you'll be fine.
