I have been working 12 hour shifts this week so not really pushing the limit on SOT, my gauge for a workday is how much battery i have left when i get home. Yesterday for example, i started the day at 92% battery, when i got home i had about 16 hours deep sleep, 2 hours and 45 min screen on time with 58% battery left. That is with mobile data the whole day at work and wireguard vpn connected while away from home.

loving this kernel. SOT is the best of all kernels for me. OOS 911 Rooted, Magisk. Thanks blu_spark. And about your score, it's ridiculous, common 3 stars. What tom foolery is going on here. Haters always gonna hate.

Been testing every kernel, and even tho im (mostly) always ending up using flar2's ele kernel, i must say, im deeply impressed with blu kernel.
So for now, im a blu-fan of yours mr. @eng.stk
Keep up the good work.
5 stars from me.

Info 2 blu_spark r38 release (unified)
All right crew!

New build is up
This kernel is unified, good to go on OP7/Pro (I only can test on Pro).
Added a custom ROM variant, at the moment I will only support ROMs that follow CAF/AOSP wifi module usage (I tested on OMNI). So if you use a custom ROM with builtin driver (like LOS), you're out of luck.
Also checkout latest recommended blu_spark extras with blu_twrp v9.103.

blu_spark_r38 release

Quote:

  • build: use new and improved blu_gcc-9.2.0
  • CAF updates and fixes for qseecom, ion, ashmem
  • drm: allow dc dimming code to run (custom)
  • AnyKernel3 updates
  • fix battery stats crash (new!)

Keep in mind: I will give no active support for custom ROMs (including OOS based ones).
I am only interested on debugging stuff in stock and stable OOS (with logs and reproducible steps to replicate the issue).
Don't spam this thread with LOS or other ROMs stuff like "this don't work, my app doesn't open, etc" or debugging features.
Also don't go spam and bug reporting on ROM threads if using this.

No mirrors please
If you like my work, donations are always welcome.
Don't forget to hit thanks and rate the thread nicely, it's free

Does the kernel come preconfigured? Or will I have to configure it myself for the best performance/battery?

@eng.stk
W00 thanks for the update, working great.

I dont have a log. (dunno how to), but do you know why, my Touch Boost, gets disabled, when i hit "apply on boot" in elementalx app?

Ive cleared the app settings, deleted ealier save file, from kernel settings.

Settings is attached.
Only way i get it enabled, is enable it after each reboot, what am i doing wrong here
