Say "cheese", then rate this thread to express how photos taken with the OnePlus 8 come out. A higher rating indicates that photos offer rich color (without over-saturating), sharp detail (with all subjects in-focus), and appropriate exposure (with even lighting).

Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!

Here's a couple of photos taken. One in low light, one in strong sunlight.

Isn't that the major real world difference between the 8 and the 8 pro (OK, faster memory and a faster screen but can you actually tell)? So you want an OP8Pro but at OP8 prices. That isn't going to happen any time soon.

Me too.
Having moved from P20 Pro to the OP8 I'm quite underwhelmed with its camera.
I knew I wasn't going to get flagship 2020 camera specs but I didn't expect my 2-year-old P20 Pro to outperform it in every situation. Pardon the pun in anything other than bright light the P20 in night and day ahead of the OP8 and even in bring light I still prefer the P20 Pro's photo processing. The OP8 seems to either be too whitewashed lacking colour or the opposite, too much colour. That'd be fixable with a firmware update, however.

If anyone cases to see some comparisons shots I can post some up

it's exactly the same camera as OnePlus 7 models so it's average at best, you can have the same main camera for half the price with OnePlus 7 regular
