I guess sensors problem is not related to the ROM itself...
I was having the same issue with Linage 16 and it exists with Linage 17.1
now its resolved for me and this is how: "Discovered Accidentally"

1- I Flashed Original Hydrogen OS I think Android 5.X.X "By mistake"
Here
2- Flashed TWRP recovery V 3.0.0-0
3- Flashed BLUpdater zip to update bootloader and latest TWRP
Here

"And here what I did to escape from Bootloop ghost that keeps chasing me with Linage 17.1"
4- Flashed Linage 17.1 and reboot "I didn't tick the option to install TWRP app as system app... so ignored"
5- Flashed nano gapps
6- I didn't flash magisk " It did bootloops for me before... but I am going to try it later"

7- Now everything works fine for me at least for the past few hours

Hope it will help some of you...

Can you describe how you did this? I still have no Android 10 gestures as swipe right/left for back...

To fix sensors (rooted device):
Using ADB:
Code:
adb shell
su
chcon -v u:object_r:sensors_persist_file:s0 /persist/sns.reg
ls -laZ /persist
Using terminal/shell as root on device:
Code:
chcon -v u:object_r:sensors_persist_file:s0 /persist/sns.reg
ls -laZ /persist
Last line is to verify.
Reboot device.

Thx, will try that later today. For me sensor are essential for my daily use. Btw. in the xda app there is a stupid emoji display in the second line instead of the code.

I am facing issues with gapps. I installed the ROM then gapps then tap reboot. It took 10 minutes but did not boot up. Instead it took me to the twrp screen. I am only facing this issue with gapps. If I do not install gapps, install only ROM and reboot then it boot up successfully. What should I do? Thanks in advance

I am also not founding the oxygen is camera with manual mode in the ROM. Please help me with that too.
Thanks

Confirming this works for fixing the sensors, rotation and brightness thank you very much. The OS works amazingly, I can continue to brag my OPX now.

Which GApps did you install?

You need the latest Android 10 ARM Pico/Nano GApps.

Worked totally fine for me.
