I unlocked bootloader using fastboot. Had the bootloader code saved from before.
I went back to original oeminfo to avoid any issues.
But seems like rebranding is not without its dangers...

You get it from the huawei website by filling in all your details.
You'll need the IMEI number. Serial number and product codes if I remember correctly.

https://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/unlock/index
A quick Google yields this link
You'll need to login so check your hicare app too

I flashed B136 3btn but no magazine unlock no themes no proper icons still ..
LIKE WTF ?
EDIT : OH MY GOSH .. It prompted B166 update .. and Jesus christ small update took longer than 3btn .. and I can't believe it.. I got now all back to normal !!
Am gonna cry
So that guy @mpiekp was wrong ! He said when he restored B136 then he had themes back .. which ISN'T true ! ONLY AFTER B166 the magazine unlock and themes and icons will come back !

It's ok.

No 136 has two extra folders that need to be in dload folder, hw and dt - if you don't it won't fix themes, if you do it will

I am a newbie here, dont know much about phones. I just got a P9 , it was EVA-L09C900B136, and i decided to update my P9 to EMUI 5 (i mean nougat) i tried manyt update.app from dload on sdcard but always fail, then i started to read this forum and i spent 2 days to understand what i shall have to do with my P9 EVA-L09C900B136, so i come across to this thread and i used SRK tool to
Unlock bootloader
Twrp recovery
root
oem and cust change
return to stock recovery
all these were done successfully, now my fone shows EVA-C432B136, but i am still unable to update Nougat , no OTA in the Update , i have tried many version of Nougat like Eva-C432B322, 360, 361 via dload but my Phone stuck at EMUI update 5% and ask to software update fail, reboot. i am hell tired and tense that what i am doing wrong. This is tried and tested. However, proceed at your own risk.

Hello there, I downloaded C436B182 firmware from Huawei site, but now I'm on L09C900B182... does this guide works too or can you give me some advices?
Does the warranty expires using bootloader method?
thanks
