Is the EX Kernel Manager not compatible with the kernel yet?

I open the app and theres only Elemental X, CPU Times, Battery Monitor, Settings and About in the left sidebar.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but still those 5 items only.

EDIT:
Ok, I flashed stock boot, then Magisk, then EX kernel, all via the TWRP 3.1.1 beta.
Found out I lost root.
Reboot to TWRP, found out I lost TWRP.

Man! This Pixel 2 is hard to figure out.
Still don't understand the rules and order of flashing stuff on it.

EDIT2:
Went and go through the steps of fastbooting TWRP and installing TWRP again.
Then installed Magisk via the installed TWRP and now I'm stuck at the boot logo G with the animating line.

EDIT3:
Ok, wiped caches via TWRP and I got back into the OS!
Have root and the EX Kernel Manager is behaving as usual.
Flashing stuff just got harder.

Is the download page correctly labeled? It says the kernel is for the Pixel sailfish, not walleye.

Also, is it possible to just flash the .img via fastboot? Wouldn't like to install TWRP at the moment.

AndroidFileHost doesn't have a page for walleye

You don't need to install TWRP, just fastboot boot TWRP and then install the zip.

Is it possible to make another sensor entry without the required permission for the elmyra sensor?

I can listen to the event it fires fine as a system app.
