Badseed Customs Presents
Pixel Launcher Editor

Greetings
This is a combination of a Magisk module and Substratum Theme. I originally did this as means to give custom options to people who enjoy the Pixel Launcher and was planning to release on the Play Store. Since it required a modified Pixel Launcher via Magisk, I decided to release it to the public via XDA.

The Magisk module is needed in order for the options in the Substratum theme to install and function properly!

The Goods!
Removed drag handle from home screen by default
Changes folder background color by default
Option to change grid layout in home screen and app drawer
Option to remove search bar (along with page indicator) from home and app drawer
Option to remove homescreen and app drawer text
Option to change app drawer background
Option to change folder background
Option to change folder border color
Option to change icon size
Option to change home screen text color
Option to change app drawer text color
Option to change folder text color

You must build the theme 3 times in order to have this theme working as intended

1. You must select a grid layout in Option 1
-must be the same option on all three builds
2. Do not install Android System, it does absolutely nothing
-don't build at all
3. Select a color option in Option 2 if applicable
-only needs to be built once
4. If removing searchbar, Option 3 must match Option 1 (ex 6x7 in both options)
-must be the same on all three builds
5. Option 4, 5, & 6 must have matching #'s (ex 1DrawerText Blue, 1Drawer BlackTrans, & 1Dock10)
-on first build use options starting with 1 (a drawer color option has to be built or other options will not work!)
-on second build use options starting with 2
-on third build use options starting with 3
6. Repeat steps 1-6 two more times
7. Reboot
8. In Substratum, go to manage, select the three overlays for pixel launcher and enable them
9. Reboot

Here is a video of me building the theme with substratum lite.

Command Center v2.1 is attached as well, it can also be themed with my editor.

Use this to use icon packs on Pixel Launcher

Make sure you install substratum lite. It is in beta on the play store, but it is the only one that will function on Android 10

I don't see this happening...I'll look, but I doubt it.

Version 2.1 is up with text color options...it requires to update to v10.2 of the magisk module as well

Are there any additional steps to make this Substratum overlay work at stock Pixel 3 (Android 10 October patch, QP1A.191005.007), rooted with Magisk and with Substratum Lite installed?

What has been done:
- Install Substratum Lite, reboot to activate its Magisk module
- Install Pixel.Launcher.Helper.v10.2.zip Magisk module, reboot, confirm it's active
- Install Pixel.Launcher.Editor.v2.3.apk
- "Install" it in Substratum Lite (5x6, no search bar, no search bar 5x6 fix)
- Confirm it's visible in Manager tab of Substratum
- Reboot phone
- Press "Enable" on the overlay on Manager tab is Substratum Lite.
- Reboot once again

As a result, there are no visible changes to Pixel Launcher, and Substratum module remains in "Inactive (reboot to activate)" state.

Are there any additional troubleshooting steps to get it enabled?

I had this happen when testing and thought I fixed it. Let me try a few things and I'll get back at you.

Can I get a screenshot of the manage tab from substratum.

Ok, uninstall the Android system overlay. It's not needed. I'll get back at you with more info on the rest.
