But upon reboot there are no mods --- no Center clock, no 3 minit , no change in QS columns

What could I be doing wrong ? I have deactivated Swift Installer and all Substratum themes -- would uninstalling the apps all together make a difference ??

Do you have any magisk modules installed? Check in magisk manager superuser to make sure ADB shell has root permission.

That's very weird after the reboot mine had everything if you don't install a base and a framework it will not work though

Looks fine to me but I'm not completely sure about Tasker tethering. You might try unchecking it in magisk manager and rebooting to see if the mods appear. I know edge sense module can't be installed.

Could it be the Elemental kernel I'm using?

Unchecking Tasker Tethering didn't change anything?

I tried the Powershell an the adb bat method --- both seem to work but upon reboot nothing changes. Any other ideas? Thanks

I've use it with elemental before. First using root explorer, go to data/tmp and see if anything is in it. Delete it if there is.

Tell me exactly your steps and exactly what you are flashing.

Edit:. It is okay to hit complete installation after first flashing systemui base and framework base but it is unnecessary. As long as you flash those two first, you can flash the mods you want right after. It is best to start at the top of the menu and work your way down. Once you have everything you need ( no rebooting in between), you can flash complete installation.

Deleted the stuff in data/tmp

Opened folder with bat file . opened the bat for mod installer
Pressed 1 for SystemUI base, then 1 for Standard base Themaable
Then 8 to Exit
Then 2 to for Framework, then 1 for Stock like
Then 3 for Clocks and the #5 choice
Then 23 for Remove carrier Text and then 1 for Center Clock
Then 24 and 4
Then 39 for Completing Installation

Device Reboots

And then Viola !! It works !!!

Deleting the data/ tmp stuff made it work ---- Thanks

Great! You might have messed up the first time and it left some stuff behind. You really shouldn't flash themeable systemui base with framework stock like. The colored frameworks (black, gray, white) are the themeable ones with the color being the color of the QS icons in the ON position.
