I'm personally experiencing it once in a while but as you said a hard boot fixed it. I also almost always have to reboot a second time after adding or updating a magisk module.

This would probably be a smart reply !! My guess also is that people are not flashing the stock kernel before moving to the other kernel and that is something you should do for sure!! Magisk module are horrible,I had edge module and my phone would not deep sleep after updating, deleted it phone ran great..

Had you posted a log tho we could have looked and maybe pin pointed the cause!!

I would recommend tho running kernel without a bunch of mods!

That's the problem people flash all kinds of junk onto their phones! Then turn around blame the kernel 🙄 I flash what's relevant to my needs. Anyways I've been using this kernel without any issues and it's smooth as hell 👍 keep up the good work 😉

update uq3.1

changelog
-msm: kgsl: Don't try to wait for fences that have been signaled
(Trying to wait for fences that have already been signaled incurs a high
setup cost, since dynamic memory allocation must be used. Avoiding this
overhead when it isn't needed improves performance.)

-msm: kgsl: Don't allocate memory dynamically for drawobj sync structs
(The memory allocated dynamically here is just used to store a single
instance of a struct. Allocate both possible structs on the stack
instead of allocating them dynamically to improve performance. These
structs also do not need to be zeroed out.)

-msm: kgsl: Avoid dynamically allocating small command buffers
(Most command buffers here are rather small (fewer than 256 words); it's
a waste of time to dynamically allocate memory for such a small buffer
when it could easily fit on the stack.

Conditionally using an on-stack command buffer when the size is small
enough eliminates the need for using a dynamically-allocated buffer most
of the time, reducing GPU command submission latency)
-dma-buf: Avoid dynamic memory allocation for small info buffers
-cgroup: use kmem_cache pool for struct cgrp_cset_link

Good Change log see github for rest

Heads up, when your running this kernel, for some odd reason the device won't save night shot pictures and astrophotography pictures. I first thought it was the updated apk that was released on November 5th, but realized today that it is the kernel after trying to take some night shots and running into this no save issue.

I'm not complaining, I really appreciate the kernel and the work your doing, I just wanted to bring this to your attention, as it's fascinating to think about what possibly does kernel functionality have to do with AI night vision software.
