[ROM][OFFICIAL][8.1.0]FireHound-v4.8.1 For Google Pixel[Sailfish]

Search This thread
Then you got your slots backwards, somehow. If you boot to recovery and you're on Slot A, the ROM will flash to Slot B, Slot B is where you need to flash the vendor and GApps (and Magisk, if you want root).

These A/B partitions are both good and bad, lol

Reboot recovery, then select the opposite slot, then reboot recovery again.
Flash the vendor image and then flash GApps
Reboot system

That should resolve your issue

okay ROM works and i can boot. But my unlock PIN won´t work

Thank you! Loving it so far! First custom rom on my pixel.

I tried using the command in fastboot
Code:
fastboot flash vendor vendor-sailfish-opm4.171019.021.p1.img --slot all
but got the error
Code:
fastboot unknown option slot

So I just did a

Code:
fastboot flash vendor_a vendor-sailfish-opm4.171019.021.p1.img
Code:
fastboot flash vendor_b vendor-sailfish-opm4.171019.021.p1.img

And followed the instructions in the original post...

Booted into the rom, installed gapps, reset, installed Magisk, got root. :good: :good:

Flashed the latest stable version of Magisk (17.1) and the latest twrp - twrp-pixel-installer-sailfish-3.2.3-1.zip.

I mean just booted up and tested everything but seems to be working great! Thank you again.

Anytime I try to download anything in "Extras" in the Essentials app, the app crashes. Any idea what's up with that? Not a huge deal because I just flashed Magisk normally, but still...seemed like a cool feature, but not working.

Additionally, and possibly related, selecting "Root management" in Settings causes Settings to crash. Again, I can work around it by going into Magisk Manager directly to access the same thing, but still...

Also just discovered that System --> System profiles also causes "LineageOS Settings" to crash...

Thanks for the input, I'll try to find some time to look into these issues

Can you theme this Rom? What tools do I need? Do I need to donate to change your nav bar? Thanks in advance,

Yes, it has full Substratum support, including themeing of the navbar and no donations are required.

Just installed v4.8.1, works nice. But in description at first page is specified Custom Camera MOD. No camera app came with the rom. Where is modded camera?

It was removed for incompatibility on other devices, I forgot to change the OP
