Cause unless you bought your phone when it first came out and unlocked your bootloader you lost the ability to unlock it after one of the updates( I can't recall exactly which one) from Verizon.

Are you using the TWRP talked about here?I have a Google Pixel. downloaded and flashed the latest 8.0 build, #45 from the toolkit. I am unable to boot into twrp. If fact I have been unable to root it or anything. It says the files are coppied over, and says it has written them. But will not reboot into recovery. It is unlocked. are there issues with 8.0?
No, I haven't. I used the one the the toolkit downloaded. I did see a YouTube video, which I believe used the one you linked too. I will watch it and do some reading tomorrow. Thanks!
Good day! I have the latest Google Pixel Module installed, and when I try to choose Option 47 (8.0.0 [OPR3.170623.007, Sep 2017]), I get an error message about TWRP - not extracting, it looks like.

Thank you so much for the help!
When will the toolkit have the updates for the Feb or March updates? When I choose option 10. Work with any Stock/Custom Build, it says not boot or stock images will be downloaded. Is there a way for us to add the latest updates to the toolkit?
