The ROM I'm using for both an FTS and another NVT panel is Evolution-X.

Apparently, 10.3.8 fixes the ghost touch for most fts users. Does this apply to custom ROMs as well?

Fixed.
Yep.
10.3.8.0 firmware + the recompiled ak3 version of 10.3.8.0 Kernel fixed ghost touches for me 100%.

Using RR 7.0.2 (25-07-2019)

No other tweak used (such as build.prop or hiding notch or whatever).

2 days now without a single lag, ghost touch or whatever. Typing is fully accurate.

I can now finally rest my head about this.

Thank you all.

My screen freezes for 5-8 secs when playing pubg. It's once in 20-30 mins. Sometimes not. It happens with me on firmware 10.3.7 and 10.3.8. But 10.3.6 worked fine. I have NVT panel on my Poco.
Is there any solution or should I use 10.3.6 ?

So, I've just got this phone, and it came with MIUI Global 10.3.8 and nvt screen. I haven't seen any issues (yet) so far, since its been less than a week, but I plan to get a custom AOSP based ROM. Should I be worried and just stick with stock for now? Or are the issues are finally completely gone with the latest releases?

All custom kernel are still based on 10.3.7 I believe, right?
Might be good if they switched as well to fix touch issues
