[5.11.5] [Xolo Q3000] [ROM] MiUi7 Universal Port

In order to avoid overcrowding of MiUi roms, problem faced by Dr. Avi sir, I am presenting universal port for MiUi7 ROM for Xolo Q3000, with special thanks to:

1) Xolo for the awesome phone at affordable price,

2) MIUI for the wonderful rom,

3) TurkDevs & 4pda for port rom.

4) @avi3230 for Boot Logo,

5) Of course, me for Repartitioning & Porting ROM for Xolo Q3000.


Pre-requisites:

1) Custom recovery such as TWRP, CWM, PhilzTouch(TWRP 2.8.4 rev2 prefered, as I've tested rom using this recovery)

2) Before proceeding, Back up your Current Rom (Failsafe).

3) /System minimum 1gb partition (Repartition your phone, before you flash this ROM).

4) SP Flash Tools & Stock rom (In case, If you are in trouble).

5) Download MiUi7 any version based on Android_KK_4.4.x for MT6589 phone, ported from Redmi Note 3G.

Procedure:

1) Put the downloaded Miui7.zip in sd card.

2) Reboot to Recovery using root apps or by pressing (PowerOn + VolumeUp) key combination.

3) Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache, Android Secure using Advanced Wipe.

4) Install Miui7.zip

5) Don't reboot system, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache & Press Home button.

6) Immediately, Install the MIUI7_Universal_Port_Patch.zip

7) Again, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache.

8) Reboot System.

9) Phone will get upgraded to newer version, without losing any data.

10) If u face any problem or wanna flash as clean install, then wipe data as well as system, alongwith Dalvik & Cache, before flashing rom.


Note:
I will update link to full rom, time to time, generally every Sunday, as MiUi releases weekly update on Friday.

Anybody with the link to latest version of MiUi7, may post the link in reply.

So far so good.. No laggs.. Buttery smooth.. Haven't checked the battery yet..
This one is better version of the old miui roms

Hi Sachin, thumbs up for your work... nice rom .. but when i optimize and clean by using security app and reboot phone, it does boot up , fixing only at boot logo. It happens only with miui posted by you.. not with those of avi sir or rohit. Please help.
Does anyone faced the same problem?

My phone is booting normally after cleaning with cleaner/security app.

Does it solved a problem??

Try a factory reset from recovery after flashing both the zips.. Had the same issue.. Fixed this way

I tried ur way.. After a factory reset when I checked with the security app the process freezed at 87℅.

But one thing .. When using full ROM posted by rohit/avi/puduraja this bug is not noticed. My phone boots normally after using security app. Please help.. I need the updated MIUI ROM...

Hi Sachin.r.fulzele,

1st of all THNXXXXXX for such a wonderful rom updated till date.
2nd There is no lag/FC in allover & no equalizer issue in this build.
3Rd THNXXXX for butter smooth UI in theme change & by default theme while having 40 above apps with high end Games.
4th Camera also very smoothly working with Full HD jpg 4.5+mb size images.
5th Battery backup also very fine no issue till date.
6th Theme option is far much better than previous build, However there are still some option are missing for selecting custom Dialer/icons/Locksreen, ETC.
7Th JOCKER Screen on boot loader is extremely awesome.

Only Issue is in some of the theme change there is no call UI appear in Locksreen state, However i have to unlock device first then drop status bar tray then have to go in notification call option to rcv.
Not a big deal it might be a theme issue.

Over all 10/10 from my side for such a Chocolate sweet rom.

Hi Guys, My problem is not solved yet.. does the security app deleting any system file while cleaning. because when i use root cleaner with full cleaning , the system restarts as usual.

Theme customize option reappears, just go to installed apps/theme & clear cache. Try if you can deal with themes, when u r offline. As the problem from miui side, I've reported it.

As u said, there is not such a problem with roms by rohit, try installing cleaner app from that rom.

Extract full rom.zip, go to system/app or priv-app and search for kingsoft cleaner, install it as normal apk

Same problem occurs with this rom also. Can you please tell me how to port security app from the rom where this bug is not found. I tried to install it as a normal apk but failed.

app isn't installed as normal apk as the security app needs 5 apps to run cleaner ,data saver ,permission manager etc
in security app while cleaning don't clean system cache
have u remove any system app,if yes then it goes in bootloop after reboot
