scrcpy on raspberry pi

tried this on rpi 3. screen lag is noticed
did some one got this working on raspberry pi with HW acceleration.

partially solved this issue by using omxplayer to mirror screen using scrcpy

now screen mirroring works with hardware acceleration on RPi. :good:

fwiw, I got excellent performance with the HW acceleration out of the box in sakaki's Gentoo (cpu% 20-30 vs 90 in Raspbian)

Ok Gentoo seems too complicated to me.

Ill go back to trying your omx player method on raspbain although last time I kept getting this error when trying to run it?

Mkfifo: cannot create FIFO '/home/pi/streamer: file exists

Also the latest scrcpy-server file downloads as zip so I just changed extension to jar is that correct way?
