Greetings and all that.

As a hand-me-down, I got my sister's old Motorola Razr i. Now, my idea was to install Hazou's unofficial Cyanogenmod on it, since Motorola doesn't seem to provide updates any more. The device is factory reset, bootloader unlocked, zip in the SD-Card's root ... but when I want to install, it aborts after verifying. Haven't done this before (better brick an old phone than a new one), so maybe I missed something. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Current Android version: 4.1.2
Current Kernel version: 3.0.34

I use CWM Recovery v6

You should try to toggle signature verification (for me it's under "install from zipfile" -> toggle signature verification. That worked for me a few times.

@rhd1989: this can be a bad idea, and could brick the phone.
@Bibliothekar: do you have an error message? what recovery are you using TWRP?

If the flashing is constantly failing, you'd better download the zip again, check its md5sum and retry to flash.
