I tried flashing the rom, now the device is booting straight to fastboot. I can still boot into twrp though. Used the latest version of twrp. Wiped dalvik, cache, system and data

I'm thinking the same thing.
Anything that I flash with a modded boot.img will not boot (error message)
So I then have to reflash the original boot.img via adb just to be able to boot back into twrp.

The CN version definitely has some extra security in the boot.img, and it's quite disappointing.

Yeah, I'm now very regretting buying this CN variant phone, even it's dirty cheap.
If it's impossible to flahs LOS/AOSP based android, it's no different from a cr*p.

Will never consider realme/OPPO CN variant any more.

I used adb to "uninstall" (basically deep system freez the app) a bunch of the bloat (Breeno, keyboard, app store, etc) and added all the Google apps/services, and a pixel theme, it's pretty good now.

It's not perfect, but it's a bunch better than with all the Oppo stuff on it.

The only thing I wouldn't do is the system messaging app, as it always gets a system notification about switching to the defat system messaging app (even though I had it froze and Google Messages installed)
The Google Messages app worked fine, but that silly notification was enough to not make that one worth it.

The CN version of this phone is EXTREMELY locked down (system wise) and development will absolutely make this device a 100x better.
But for now, let's just hope some of the devs out there can find a workaround to the boot.img problem.

Download and install as it’s just a theme.

I ended up getting it flashed a few days ago.

Love this ROM!
Haven't had any major issues (finger print works good, no sound/speaker issues)

If I catch any bugs , I'll report it back.

Yes. Selinux is still permissive.

This build can be flashed on both the Indian and Chinese Variants. Clean flash is required.

Hi, thanks very much for developing this ROM, I used it for about 1 week and I like it very much as it works smoothly.
I report a issue here seems like a bug, when any sound is displayed such as make a phone call or sound messages in wechat or whatsapp, there is a small round blinking on the screen, near the left upper conner of the phone.
Anyone noticed this issue?
