No matter what rom I try, I always come back to NOS. Is there some kind of magic wand done by the dev or is it some dark secret he didn't shared with us? I'm curious.

Great standby time, great battery back, smooth af, all apps works, no fcs, camera mods work. I wish he could implement the selinux paranoid for users who keep shifting to other roms including me and than come back to NOS. I wish I could visit the dev house with plenty of gifts for him and his family and kids so that he agrees to change the selinux stuff. Maybe one day, he'll stop liking permissive. We all should pray.

Hi. Can you please elaborate whats with that SE Linux stuff you are talking about? Like which one is better Enforced or Permissive? And what's Paranoid? I've read plenty of topics on Google but didn't understand much. Maybe you could explain in simple words?

500 mA isn't normal. Use a different cable or a different charger. Normal means ~1500 - 2000 mA.

i dont know what is happening.

i have 4 usb cables.

i plug 1 time, get 450mA, unplug, and plug again, and i get 10mA, do the same, 10 times and i get, 300, 360, 400, 200, 100 mA.

i try 2 charger and 4 usb cables.

Ok, try this:

1. Plug in any of the cables
2. Leave the phone charging for about 20 minutes
3. Check the current

At first the counter isn't really accurate (it's always low immediately after plugging it in).

The 2nd thing might be the battery charge. If it's <10-15% or >90% it might charge slower, because that's how batteries are made.

Also make sure you test this without a custom kernel.

And one last thing, it might be a counter problem. I actually tested with a USB current/voltage tester and it was charging a little faster than what my phone said (though I've only tested once for fun, so it might not be 100% accurate).

Try everything I recommended and if you still don't get better results, try a different ROM and see if that helps.

It's a google thing. It deletes photos and videos that you have backuped to Google Photos. I think it also uninstalls unused apps.

Try this
Use latest build
Check location settings by long pressing location icon on QS.
Grant location permission for indual app (maps)
Enable location services for google play services.
Enabke location.
Check internet connection for maps.
Go outside of home while checking.
Do not change app opps if you don't know what happens.
It will work definitely.

I was running an 8.0 Oct 2017 build and it has been great but I decided to update to the nightly 8.1 for security updates.
After updating to the latest TWRP, I decided to wipe everything, system, format the data partition, etc.
The nightly installed OK but when I rebooted I only see the MI boot logo.
