This build is based on pie firmware fro MiUI 9.4.25. Please flash the firmware before trying to install this build.
GCam works fine on this build.
Users won't get OTA for this build since I want you to clean flash. After flashing this build, you'll get OTA for future builds.

As usual, I have tested the basic stuff. If I have missed out stuff, lemme know

The Rom is very smooth. Thanks for your efforts.
Since it is an unofficial build.. is it possible to bring the mi camera as default?
Bug: Safetynet not passing.

MiUI camera is on my list of studd to do.
And yes, noticed the SafetyNet thing today. Looking into it

The encryption system cannot enter twrp 3.3.1-0　by entering the correct password.

Why there is no download option for automatically generated recovery.img during ROM building process?
Maybe this Lineage OS recovery will work without these issues?

P.S.
I didn't mean to disrespect in any way developer effort, i'm just saying.

Because the entire process is not automated. If needed I can start uploading the recovery as well

This would be great, excellent and for every recommendation (i mean recovery upload)!
I'm in favor for "in house" solutions and in this case this would be excellent (Lineage OS ROM and Lineage OS Recovery).

    LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

    Report bugs
    Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
    Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.


    DO NO POST BUGS WITHOUT LOGS AND PROPER STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE ISSUE



    Follow Instructions Carefully otherwise you might get error :
    • Reboot to recovery
    • Flash Global Pie firmware if you haven't already. Please flash the full firmware zip and not the non-arb ones. You can flash the firmware here. Flash V10.3.1.0.PEIMIXM for now.
    • Wipe cache, dalvic cache, system, vendor, data
    • Flash ROM & Gapps arm64 together
    • Done-Reboot Now
    • Enjoy the clean rom

    As for Lineage 17.0, the main devs are doing the bring-up. So they will most likely maintain it for whyred. If they don't, I will pick up the support. That being said, LineageOS 16.0 builds will continue as usual.

    So I have applied for LOS official with my cleaned up trees. I am awaiting a response. After I get the response, I will continue with the builds whatever be the result. Meanwhile, can you all help me by compiling a list of known bugs? I will give them a go. Thanks :)
