In the latest version the system encryption does not work. When I start the process (only the ROM is installed, no other software) the android-figure comes for a few seconds then the device restarts. All versions from the end of last year have always worked. Since a dirty flash won't work because of the bootlloop (as described above), I can't just take the data with me.

I don't want to wipe everything (again) as stetting up the banking apps is a real hassle.

Is it anyhow possible to dirty flash/upgrade w/o removing Full Device Encryption? Thanks!

Hey! I didn't like havoc os 3.5. The video from any camera app, even Open Camera, is super choppy

Use gcam for better video stabilization. Stock cam doesn't support it

You can't encrypt without formatting ur device from this build onwards. Format ur device for once and clean install ROM. It will enable encryption automatically.:good:

After booting to system I tried to activate the device encryption, which was not active by default (display: phone not encrypted). After pressing the buttons and assigning a password before, the process takes a few seconds before the device restarts. Then the device is still not encrypted according to the information displayed in the settings and there was no password request until to the unlocking. I can try as many times as I want. Like the other one said, in the .4 version before there were no problems with it.

Edit: I had an old version of a recovery without FBE support.
Now the encryption starts, but it 'hangs' at 00:00 time remaining for several hours, although very little data is stored. An abort by reboot ends with an indication of unsuccessful encryption.

I had installed an old version of the orangefox recovery. After its update I have the same problem. The device encryption is stuck.

Clean install rom, then wipe->format->type "yes" , reboot. U will be encrypted by default:angel:

The reduced padding below the keyboard overlaps the gapps instruction process.
I'm not a huge fan of 2 or 3 key navigation so i had no problem due to the gesture navigation.
The setup process for the google account setup was a drag.
Also the drag down button of the keyboard feels so disatisfying as that portion of the screen is used for nothing. The traditional swipe down method to collapse the keyboard was more efficient. It feels like that dedicated collapse button for the keyboard is unnecessary..

Just change wallpaper or reapply the same wall. It will be fixed ?

1. Download the ROM, GApps (Optional), Magisk (Optional) from the links above.
2. Wipe System, Data, Dalvik, Cache.
3. Flash the ROM, GApps (Optional), Magisk (Optional).
4. Reboot and Enjoy.

We have some new instructions to be followed while installing Havoc 3.5 or above version, we have migrated to FBE from FDE. So you have to format device for once before installing this update.
So,

1)backup everything to external drive
2)goto recovery, wipe, format and type "yes"
3) install rom zip + gapps
4) enjoy

Note: after this encryption will be enabled by default and when nxt update comes no need to format again, just wipe and install as usual.

Incase u don't want encryption and want to dirty flash over older build , after installing rom install "dm verity force encryption zip"(not recommended though)
