Front camera on parrot gcam 7 distorts image output if hdr+ is on. anyone else experienced this?

Parrot's GCam7 mod is no longer supported in this thread because of saturation bug and unusable NightSight. Use Arnova's mod instead. It's the best mod for violet right now. Parrot's mod is only good on lavender now.

[UPDATE]

New configs for Arnova v4 beta 4 released! Please check first post!
These will be the final configs for this build as Google-Camera 7 is now fully optimized for Redmi Note 7 Pro!
Soon we will be making the transition to a stable Arnova8G2 version! NO ETA!

Changelog:

• enhanced focus (improved clarity)
• increased sharpness and details
• optimized NightSight (less blurry details with better sharpness and focus)
• enabled NightSight suggestion
• enabled HEXAGON DSP (optimized hardware compatibility)
• optimized thread performance
• enabled horizon level
• disabled camera sounds (may also work for some custom ROMs depending on region)
• sabre is forced by default for maximum quality (for faster processing and better battery life it can be disabled from developer settings » cam_config.sabre_force OFF)

But it wont work without gcam 7 magisk addon right???

I have already explained that some custom ROMs require the Magisk module for GCam7 to work. Other custom ROMs like Pixel Experience 10 (Q) don't need that module as GCam7 works by default the same way it works on MIUI ROMs. If you can install GCam and use it without getting any crashes, then it means you don't need that Magisk module. Those who do not wish to use Magisk on their ROM can edit build.prop file manually using the lines below:

Tested the latest configs and it does work

Didn't notice much enhancements, but it's already pretty dope, so that's fine. Never going back to stock again :P

I'm not using a custom ROM, so I can't test that. Try and see. Backup original build.prop file just in case anything goes wrong.

It's already enabled by config > SuperResZoom = SABRE (cam_config.sabre_force ON in Developer Settings).
