Spotify freezes tapping 3 dots menu

When playing a song in Spotify and tapping on the 3 dots in the upper right corner, the screen dims a little bit and Spotify freezes. No probs like this with Mi Mix 2s and Redmi Note 4. Erased app data, uninstalled, re-installed - no changes.

Any ideas?

Thanks! That's now for almost 2 months and they do nothing - great! I love the superb support within a premium account...

Any ideas/workarounds how to add a song to a playlist?

I have installed the Spotify desktop app on Windows 10 and I am doing all the management from there!

By the way, I have the Chinese rom (for now). Does it happen on the global rom also?

Yeah, I was afraid of this being the only chance for managing playlists....

Hello,

Theres a workaround, tap the song/album you want, then go to the playlist and select "add song", then swipe right until you get the recently played pannel and add song/album to playlist....

Same issue, already posted on Spotify's forums and they didn't even acknowledged it.
Lots of people complaining yet the can't or refuse to do something about it...
