I made application RMXtools to deal with system/data.img

Requires
Net-Framework 4.5
Windows 7 x64/x86 and later

Features
Root Remix OS using windows
Unpack/repack system.sfs
Create new data.img
Expand system/data.img
Format /ext2/ext3/ext4
Scan/fix/clean img
Verify system files
Deodex Remix OS
Extract/Rebuild system.img

Root: instruction
1- Extract system.img
2- Press root button point for extracted img "system_"
3- Repack system.img
4- done

Root for Beta release
Due to new option set system.img Read-Only in initrd.img the Root will fail
so to Root Remix OS beta release use RMXtools to root then replace initrd.img with the one that I provided below

RMXtools Still standing

Recommendation
Please do Not modify or move or delete anything inside folders "rfiles" and "rfiles32" in RMXtools dir because these files contains a "Symbolic link" any changes will cause Root failure

Hi OP,
If I have a USB drive booting currently at FAT32, how do I use this to reformat and resize?
I have tried the EasyBCD method in another post, and although it works, it means I must install EasyBCD on each computer I use, which I don't want to do so.

A number of people have been asking for directly booting off an NTFS or Ext2/3/4 formatted USB drive with >4Gb data.img.

Do your tools make this possible?

Can I use this to pack a system.img as system.sfs?
