Happening here as well. Phone completely froze up today when launching Twitter. Black screen, and it took a good 20 seconds to recover.

Wait for a Twitter app update.

Well I bit the bullet and did a factory reset and for the last few hours no crashes and no glitches in either Nova or Twitter or whatever app. I hope I don't have to repeat this every month.

Having problems as well. Phone not responding when trying to restart or power off via power button.

Also a weird bug that keeps my phone unlocked. Lock screen is being bypassed!!!

Hold power and vol down for about 8 secs and the phone will reboot.

Disabling fingerprint unlock seems to resolve this for me. However, it's not really a fix or a suitable workaround. We should be able to use the fingerprint sensor to unlock our phones if we so choose. BTW this issue only started for me after the May 2019 update.

As i said before, a factory reset did solve all my problems with the phone being stuck, fpr sensor not responding. Having said this, a factory reset is really not the most elegant way to solve problems. I guess there were quite a few changes in this version that made a factory reset necessary. This, or samsung will push another update. For the time being im happy camper again, but with a pinch of scepticism...

Edit: Nova just crashed on me either something is wrong with Nova or this firmware. Hope Samsung will push another version out....

I did a clean install of may update thinking that it will sort all the problems after a dirty flash of it on April update. But guess what, still same bugs, system ui not responding, cannot turn off or restart phone and etc. Don't flash or update to may update, if you haven't done it yet because you will regret it.
