microG has nothing to do with the network problem.

Ok, since it's real to me I had the issue after following that steps (it could be a relationship), lets clearout things...

To be more precise and discard posibilities, could be somethig to do with? (I mean something to do, not direct influence):

1. Cellular Network Not Available... -Network State: Disconnected/ Service State: Voice: Out of Service/ Data: In service. Have data connection, SIM amd operator detected, not able to call or sed/receive sms

2. MAC Address changed to: 02:00:00:00:00:00 Means that something to anybody?

3. IMEI has changed in phone status. Plus there is no phone number

4. Cellular network switch and data switch are linked. That means if I Switch on one, the other is also on, but not possible to switch in different mode

5. LTE discovery app shows: Cell Radio State "connecting". It seems like the phone stucks on this step, not being able to get network

6. Does this steps affect somehow EFS folder?

If it is for sure it has nothing to do, this could help me a lot to discard options, and let me focus in other posibilites... (For example, a malware that has changed my IMEI, even after reflashing stock rom as it is my case)

I can not put my Google account in settings and use my contacts. How can I proceed? For the rest I got everything so far in the last ROM Superman.

I can't add a Google account through Settings, it says microG Services Core keeps stopping, I followed every step and did signature spoofing on Superman ROM 2.4.1 Nougat.

Facing issues with location.
Everything else works flawlessly.
No location option works, seems there's a problem with UnifiedNlp. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm on superman 2.4.1 too. Running smoothly with this Microg.
Already reboot? or all GAPPS removed?

When I first access location was indeed an error. But after I open the weather widget (and allow access locations) everything was normal. I can access my location on google map

Thanks for the reply.
I gave the same a try, no difference.
I thought the issue was "UnifiedNlp is registered in system" not being ticked, but i see you have "Network-based location" enabled. Did you just install the Mozilla backend?

Ended giving up on Renovate, was not able to get location to work.
I am trying with SuperMan rom now, as it seems the most used. This time around, i am not able to add google account. MicroG keeps crashing.
I see many before me has faced the same issue, but no answers?

This guide will enhance your privacy and take your battery life to the next level.
We will be replacing Google Cloud Messaging and Play Services with microG which is an open-source alternative. It strips identifying data and only sends basic info such as account name to Google while anonymizing the rest. Privacy-caring users can reduce or monitor data that is sent to Google and users can expect some battery life improvements. Find more about it here.

    1. Uninstall all Google apps from system except GooglePackageInstaller, GoogleExtServices & GoogleExtShare. Reboot. Make sure these apps have been removed:

    Code:
    Phonesky/Play Store
    Google Services Framework
    Gsmcore/Play Services
Velvet, Chrome, Youtube, Sync Adaptors, Backup Transport
    All other pre-installed/downloaded Google Apps

    2. Uninstall all Google Apps installed as user apps in Settings/Applications. At this point you should not have any Google applications installed.

    3. Download microG Services Core & GsfProxy. Install them as user apps.

    4. Now we need a Play Store. Install Fake Store from here to fulfill this requirement and use Yalp Store [ open-source Play Store ] for downloading applications.

    5. You also need Signature Spoofing. Use either method below and reboot:
    (a) If you have Xposed, use this module.
    (b) If you are on Nougat and have a deodexed rom then use this guide to enable signature spoofing.

    6. Go to Settings and grant all permissions to microG. Open microG and enable Google device registration & Cloud Messaging respectively. Use Self-Check to make sure everything looks good.

    7. For location services to work with high accuracy, download an open-source location backend e.g Mozilla and enable it in microG Settings. Reboot.

    8. Add a Google account through device settings.

    9. Done! You can now install any applications [Google/Non-Google]

    FAQs
    Q. Why is it not working?
    A. Are you sure you rebooted? Did you remove GAPPS? OK. Now, ask!

Guess I can add some positive feedback.

+Worked perfectly well on my phone. SM-G9350
+No issues so far. Used the original debloat script that was in the first post. Just launched the phone in TWRP, mounted system, removed the line 'adb wait-for-device' did a find replace in the bat file for 'adb shell su -c rm -r' and replaced it with 'adb shell rm -r' as the su -c was not necessary.
+Completely removed the bloat. It got my rom down from 423 APK's down to 90 APK's. Makes wiping the Dalvik much more tolerable now lol. Im sure more can be removed.
+Google Services takes way less battery usage now overall.
+Installed the Mozilla location services, works fine. Tested it on Google maps and Ingress.
+Works fine with xposed and google assistant.
+Works fine with the Pixel launcher.
+Works fine with the Google app.
+Works fine with the Google contacts and Google dialer applications.

    Very nice work @TheMaanda

    Regards

Almost 7 8 days this has been released..

Anyone who has used this, sharing the detailed battery stats?

OP is still on the same images of SOT

I tried it and gained about 30 minutes of SOT from my usual 6 - 7 hours SOT (24 hr standby) with 4G and 7 - 8 hour SOT (30 hr standby) on WiFi, so max of 7:30 on 4g and 8:20 on WiFi. Was not worth multiple apps not working due to Google Play Services needing updates, multiple crashes from Google Maps (regardless of what I did) and nuking of tons of bloatware that doesn't actually run unless you use it.

Back to my stock rooted APC8 build. I'll happily sacrifice 30 mins SOT for ease of use.
