I have a problem with google services draining my battery because of keeping awake.
scenario is as follows:
wiped dalvik, system, internal memory and cache and kept data as is
installed rc2
installed latest pa mini gapps
reboot
everything works but google services (receiver: systemupdateservice) is keeping the device awake and draining the battery
Ive disabled this service and everything is normal until reboot
any suggestions?
other gapps?
wipe data too?
thanks
I am very pleased with this CM11 ... good battery for me .. changed just min freq to 245.
Boot into twrp install the modem twice and do wipe data, cashe, dalvik cashe. Install the rom and the gapps open your phone and if you have problems with the ril flash the Hungary baseband via odin.Hi,
It works flashing over Romanian baseband ?
Or is mandatory to change to HU modem?
Tks.

Seems to be a Problem with the actual play services as mentioned at the pa gapps thread. Hope Google fixes this soon. Just to make clear its not an issue of the Rom.Have you tried disabling ksm in performance settings?

Have you try this gapps and solved the issue? If yes, what modular pack you try? I downloading now the pico as is the modular the dev gave to us..
Thats the gapps i was talking about causing issues because of latest play services 7.x.

I haven't tried it
What gapps did you use? Try to disable all the Bluetooth services after you see the google services issue stop?Play services issue solved by using older gapps package.
Unfortunately I discovered another issue that's preventing deep sleep.
Screenshot attached. Seems to be related to Bluetooth somehow although not active. Some posts before someone posted a screenshot where device is awake 100% of the time too. So I guess it is an rom/kernel issue affecting every rc2 installation.
Someone else here?
