im using magisk too..im sure i followed the guide step by step. i couldnt work viper4android i almost get crazy do you have any advice ?

I think there is a tutorial for this somewhere in the forum, but okay, come on!

You will need:

1. Odin 3.11+
2. TWRP 3.1.1+
3. Supersu.zip

How to make?

- Flash the TWRP in Odin, in the AP option. (uncheck the auto-reboot option)
- When finished, hold down the Volume Down, Volume Up, Power, and Home buttons together.
- As soon as the screen erases, just release the volume down. Keep the others pressed.
- Once you enter TWRP, go to Wipe> Format Data and type yes.
- Install supersu.zip
- Restart and be happy.

This will void the warranty on your device. Do it at your own risk!

Pretty weird here but everything works perfect with headset but I cannot get any sound at all from speaker. No media, no ringtones, no notification sound. When I get a phonecall it rings in my headset too...

but i didn't remove soundalive and adaptsound,, is it the problem?

You must remove anything that conflicts with V4A and the Viper system audio configuration files. Adapt Sound is not so much, but SoundAlive is required to remove.

Works for Lineage 14.1 on my Note 3. Many thanks as I was really liking this version of Viper on my previous ROM only to find I couldn't get it going on Nougat.

Hey i followed that guide/installed the app and drivers, after installing using the drivers and rebooting. my phone boots in to a black screen and when i open the shutdown menu it flashes slowly, the i cant do anything with my phone right now. im running an samsung galaxy a5 2017 rooted android oreo stock rom.
Any help?

Can you enter TWRP?
IF you get in TWRP you can restore your backup..

EDIT, so i flashed stock rom again. installed viper4android from the page you shared. but i does not proces the audio.(i hear no diverence.)

Switch to magisk, make it easier for yourself
