Guys, I just downloaded the OTA with the latest security patch as attached screen grab. Other than the newly preinstalled FB app, what other new/enhanced features that I will benefit from installing this OTA? If it's only a FB, I wld rather skip this update as I don't use FB.

Impossible update via odin (Now it's possible)

I have search in Google some methods to unlock bootloader, but I only got boot on bootloader with adb commands and from there, I have flash ROM using Odin. After flash process finished, I have flash twrp.
Finally, I downgrade to 5.1.1 for settings reasons. Another moment I will flash 6.01 Marshmallow.

I can't to flash this China version on SM-A7100 with Hong Kong lollipop 5.1.1 firmware. Previous to try to flash I checked phone drivers and installed CROM service hoping it let me to root device soon, but when I followed procedure to flash using Odin 3.11.1 the log gets static with

On phone screen after entering download mode it shows
Knox or void warranty: 0×0
Qualcomm secure boot: enable
Secure download: enable
the download progress was remain unchanged and the 6.0.1 firmware never was installed.
I have tried to flash twrp recovery, with same results: on Odin the log only shows

Finally I have never flash new marshmallow firmware nor can flashed twrp. On phone case appears qualcomm 4G and I think it is the corresponding device chipset.
Anybody can help me? Thanks in advance.

I'm using A7100 Hongkong Version and It is work well for me HERE
Did you remove google account and samsung account before ?You need to remove all of it then try to do by Odin again.
It is very important.(FRP LOOK should be OFF)

I have not yet got flash 6.0 MM. Indeed i doesn't have erase Google accounts, only Samsung, but now those are eliminated. I will try again to flash.
I have a question: Should I let ticked Re-partition option after to load of pit file of China 5 files set?

Simply not. No file is flashed

Finally I can boot phone to bootloder or to download mode using adb commands. From bootloader, I have flash firmware with Odin. Thanks.

I tried files on this thread and sammobile firmware file and nothing. I can't get to flash no file.
I did factory reset and cache reset from phone stock recovery, activate usb debugging and oem permission but no setting works. :silly:

So guys, i have the Samsung Galaxy a5 2016 ( HONG KONG VERSION - SM-A5100 ) and i have Marshmallow. So If you want Marshmallow but cant get the update trought OTA here you go with a link ( I uploaded it, and I extracted it so here you go )
