But you have define what is easy...

Main difference...
Different Transfer Protocols and name convention for files...
TM1 need THOR Tool with THOR protocol...
Z3 use ODIN with ODIN protocol...

Tizen reference devices work with U-Boot as Bootloader... AFTER sboot Bootloader...
You have to puzzle few things...
Sources are floating somewhere around.

Different Hardware.
Different Bootloader, different partitions, filename convention, many huge differences.
If you have RD-PQ... you could update to 2.3.1 Binary with lthor...

I've installed 2.3.1 to RD-PQ.
It can load, Wi-Fi doesn't work, All apps are gone and many other glitches 8)1
