    I uploaded a kernel for Android 12 in EXKM. I did not test it, as I don't want to install Android 12 on this phone. It should work, I did install Android 12 on my Pixel 4XL and everything was working good. Use Magisk canary to root.

    Uninstall and reinstall. I can't think of any reason why the volume button settings would be disabled unless you are using an extremely old setting called "Bixby only". That setting was only meant for the earliest generation of Bixby phones, before Samsung started their war on remapping apps.

    It would work on custom ROMs that don't change the kernel. If they customize the kernel, then elementalx will be incompatible.

    Check out dontkillmyapp.com for suggestions. Some manufacturers add even more stuff that kills apps. It's a huge problem and Google does nothing about it.

    That script is generated on phones with a dedicated Bixby button. I don't know how the Note 20 works, if the button is not detected in the add buttons dialog, it can't be remapped at present. Not sure if it is possible, it's doubtful I would be able to get my hands on a Note 20.
