this ones newer than my old build, but there arent any device specific changes, just more recent lineage 13, which isnt seeing as much work as 14.1. the atrix i had had philz touch, and it flashed fine. its also currently on freeompop and works great for the wifes little brother.

    Post [rom] lineageos-13.0

probably not. like i said earlier, we don't have that atrix anymore, so i don't have a device to test with. i've also been away from android for a while, so the work needed to get 14.1 running doesn't appeal to me like it used to. back when i was working on ics for the g1, it was exciting...

it was stable enough for my wifes usage. never had a chance to test gsm voice/sms since we use freedompop, but recently tested mobile data, and that worked fine. i no longer have our atrix though, so there won't be more testing from me.

you said do better. you have a nice cpu, lots of ram, and can do raid on 2 ssds. there can be so much better done with that box than vmware crap
  13. tvall

cammykool is my friend who wanted to post a screenshot for proof. he doesnt have an atrix. my wife has been using it yesterday and today and hasnt complained about anything. so seems to be working fine. cell radio is still untested. but it can read and pin unlock a sim.

I've been wanting to try tizen. but i don't know if it'll fit my needs. I use my gear for web browsing, music playing, and xmpp chats. connected via bluetooth pan to my nokia n900. I don't know if tizen could handle that. if everyone is on tizen, then I'll just hold off on releasing this...

no, because doing so will prevent you from ever rooting it again. you could always trade your rooted chromecast with one of the many people here who accidentally let theirs update before before rooting. win-win

Post [ROOT] HubCap Chromecast Root Release!

there are ways to go back to stock, and it can be done just as easily as flashing a flashcast mod if someone were to make one. if i remember correctly, team eureka and the other devs are intentionally not doing so because it is irreversible (you can go from eureka to stock, but if you ever go...

I liked maemo last time I used it. Had to sell my n4 to pay bills. The n900 is cheap. Also considering the n9 or a galaxy nexus. And the future possibility of upgrading to a neo900 is appealing.
