Why would you even want to flash both Gapps Packages? Just use the leanback ones you have the option to change the default launcher under the home menu.

You worry to much about specs IMHO. The Device works flawlessly for what it was designed to do. Why do you need 2 gigs of Ram? Sure it would be nice but for what this device does you never see a difference. As for Ethernet that's as simple as an adapter plugged into adapter an otg hub.

The only reason Sprint IMEI locks a device is if it's subsidized. So if the OP's device wasn't subsidized I have no idea what's wrong.

That hardware info isn't going to lie to you it's a 32gb so I would be on the phone with Moto ASAP make them send you aa hint for free for you trouble if they can't overnight you the correct device.
