That's due to audio libs . try to use maximum original audio libs . Miui has high ram use compared with other aosp ROMs, but I think this 6.1.14 has better ram management. (Create and use swap partition, it'll help for low memory issues)

You can't update this ROM . because I edited framework for sim2 3g and launcher for fixing overlapping icons , also its dialer is modded too. So its not possible to update this ROM using ota. Another method is by using a software called barts (don't know much about it) As of today (January 8)...
