It could be a bug, but I can't reproduce it, could you be more precise ? For example is just tap to focus or long tap to exposure? Please could you send the crash report also through Google Play? Because obfuscated logcat is pretty hard :p

This is a weird bug, I never had a similar behaviour neither on my G3 (MM stock no root) nor on any other phone where I tested it. Please I need more details. Have you already tried "restore default" option?
