I don't think so. The fix just install Footej Cam as a native camera. Footej cam use software codec while stock camera use hardware codec. That's why using Footej cam, you can record videos. It's a nice cam app though.

To root with magisk, use magisk 14.0 and wipe data after flashing. I am rooted and it worked fine. I was even able to restore using Titanium Backup. Just make sure you wipe data after flashing magisk.

I tried it and the lag is very minimal and it's fairly usable. Faster than before :silly: There is still random soft reboot though but I don't really mind that :fingers-crossed: Thanks daniel_hk for this awesome rom! :victory:

It actually matters because Moto G5s is Snapdragon while K3 Note is Mediatek. Theoretically the rom can't work for our device just by itself. It's open source tho, so anyone who got the skills can compile one.

That's a common bug for Oreo right now. For me, the bug occurred after reboot. Check in Settings whether the phone can read the sim slots IMEI SVs.
