    I'm almost sure that rootutil doesnt work with your firmware version... But you can try to use it anyway... If it will not work (boot loop) you can reboot the tablet with the same sd card you have used for root and select option unroot. It will restore your original kernel and uboot...

    It's so strange that system update change the serial number.... but if you have done a full dump with dumputil before root and system update, you can restore all dump, and I think you will have the old serial number.     Also my tablet has a serial number different from the one printed on the BOX label... But the serial number show in android comes from file ISN on partition8... I'm not sure but probably SSN printed on memo pad BOX refer to a Hardware serial number... Are you sure to have seen the same number...

    If you unroot device CWM works anyway. CWM boot on your tablet with a his rooted kernel image, doesn't need to have the tablet rooted. Maybe the problem is how to start CWM without root... Do you use CWM for backup your user data o the system?

    Try to boot with a microSD card with DumpUtil...if worksr do a dump of your rom, backup it in safe place and use RootUtil to root your tablet, (RootUtil replace your boot/kernel image).

    I think so, if you have used my tool to dump the rom before rooting, unroot it and restore all dumps, after redo the root procedure on tablet, and check if SD card works again. If yes, this means that you've uninstalled something it needs to SD works correctly.

    So, if someone wants can put the dumped dir to download somewhere...that you can download to have a backup of original system rom. But if your tablet works...do again another dump ad save them in safe place. Of couse, your backup is a backup of a rooted tablet. You need backup just in case...
