Thats what I posted in previous post, use alternate Apk Stores, Apk pure or other. Install magisk from decatf and than install KernelAuditor for OC the CPU to Max 1400 MHz to give this Tab more performance .

@Cheminot1960 You have got the p4 WiFi. So you have to download the ROM and TWRP for the p4wifi.

Install decatf's magisk version for Root and than KernelAuditor Apk . Over clock the CPU to Max 1300 MHz. After some reboots than you can update magisk to newer Version.

Yes, gapps makes problems on LOS 18. Its better to Bitgapps or Mindgapps.

I tested all your ROMs now from the first Version. For me it is full functional and I can use it as daily drivers. Some times my browser crahes ( I use opera mini in private mode with VPN ) In the moment I try to find some setting were the crashes come from. But that is not a main problem...

Which Type of S4mini is it LTE / 3G or 2 Sim Have you make an clean install / factory reset , wipe cache and dalvik / data / system and if you all files on an ext. Sdcard also data media ( into.Sdcard ) Make sure that your phone have the correct TWRP installed. Was your Sim at flash time...

If your Baseband / Modem Version newer so is it not nessessarry to flash it.

It is an *.tar file, so you can flash it with Odin.

Less than 1 / per mill has got this bug. Form which OS you are coming ? Have you updatet your Bootloader ? Have you make a clean install ? Did you restored something ? Have you installed some mods ?

You can flash directly TWRP 2.8.7.0 with Odin For Root is better to use the magisk Version 18 from dectaf.

@OzoneVibe If you are Windows or Linux user? Odin you can use with windows. Search on you tube " how to flash TWRP on galaxy tab pro 8.4 and the same for LOS17, than you follow this step by step.

That's an issue from Heimdall, you need a sperate patch for Heimdall.

@Valera1978 If got SM-T320 On TWRP 3.4.x for mondrianwifi the efs backup exist. I tried a clean install included data media I can confirm Magisk stops with error, tried 20.4 and 21.1 Restored my data partion. Tab boots fine. The Tab is very slow of all inputs. THX for this Test Build.

To flash a Customrom you need the TWRP Recovery..

Flash latest Stockrom. It has something to with the cf autoroot what is on your Tab installed. Than try again to flash the TWRP. Use Odin 3.09 or 3.07 and give Odin admin permission.

Bluetooth works for, tested sending and recive images. GPS is not working, will try it again next time. Magisk 21 works. WiFi works.

@retiredtab Both cameras works on Cdroid for me. Yes, browsers crashes after some times, I use opera mini.

You heve to flash an nano or pico Version and the otherfrom play store.. Better is to use Bit or Mindgapps.

Why you want to install an Android V4.x Version ? We have already an Android 9 / 10 / 11 for this Phone.

Install Magisk and than search GPS fix , flash this with magisk reboot to recovery Wipe cache and dalvik ,reboot and calbrate all sensors .

Flashed on both of my S4mini the Version from yesterday. (20201205) FM Radio works Signal of 4g is on both device the same, test it on same position with the same sim card. On my feeling the WiFi / Wlan works faster than on LOS 17.1

Which Version you want to restore LOS17 ? You need the restore fix from arco, See the LOS 17 Thread Post #1

arco68 Installed last Version , works so far. I tried video calls with google duo and signal messenger. On both apps video is OK, but microphone is not working . I'm not 100% sure but issue was also on LOS 17 with some video calls.

You need to install TWRP.

After using Hotspot, reboot oft the phone . arco68 With last November Version if got following issue. If im using the Hotspot of the phone and i want to switch the Hotspot off the S4mini 9195 freeze and it reboots automaticly by it self. Try it 3 times and always the same.

Go to advanced wipe and Format your system Partion. Reboot recovery and try again. Also im portant that your TWRP is 3.3.x or newer.

To update Modem and Bootloader is the important thing if you come from Stock and want to change to LOS 16 / 17.

Normaly you need a New Kernel that supports the extendet Amh.

Try BitGapps Version 10 and not Opengapps. Make an factory in LOS from TWRP and than flash BitGapps. Wipe cache and dalvik than reboot to system.

With TWRP you can only flash a Customrom. Have you create a Backup oft the Stockrom before you flashed the Customrom ? If yes , so you can restore this.
