I updated freedomos with clean install from 1.7 to 2.0 without flash official nougat. So yes you can because freedomos 2.2 has firmware/modem inside like stock rom :)

I also had this problem yesterday, problem solved with another clean install but this time I also select google packageinstaller in gapps. I do not know if this is the solution or just luck.

Hello guys, I'm new on xda , i need an information about HydrogenOS, someone that used this rom has noticed if the temperature are slightly higher than the Oxygen? (an average of 3 or 4 degrees celsius higher). My device is rooted and the rom is debloated. Sorry for my english. Thanks! :)
