Of course your data will be deleted. Just make a backup. I use the app swift backup for this. Titanium Backup is also an option. And of course the phone will work properly if you have done this operation.

Of course I mean if you. Flash a rom and then the twrp.img after it through magisk that the twrp stays anyway. This denim is also easy to handle with the oneplus 6 and this works great

If I am on twrp and I flash a rom, do I have to flash twrp.zip at the back afterwards or does twrp persist after rom flash?
