    If you want to disable the persistent notification, run this command from a root shell (such as adb root / recovery or terminal app) and reboot the device after execution the command. setprop persist.lineage.nofool true

    Please don't flash gpt.bin and motoboot.img over and over again. Never downgrade your firmware. If you do, never flash motoboot.img and gpt.bin. Never accept an OTA update after downgrading. This is how you end up with a hard brick with absolutely no chance of recovery. Sent from my Moto E...

    You should've read the entire thread before downgrading the bootloader via fastboot. I have informed users like you to skip flashing motoboot.img and gpt.bin in the last 2 pages. Flashing those two files WILL permanently brick your device & there is no unbrick procedure/blank flash file...

    I don't think the button can be rewired. The button is part of the motherboard. This problem is common to all moto e 1st gen devices. These devices were never built/meant to last.

    The random reboot is not because of the downgrade to 4.4.4. It's because of the faulty power button on your Moto E.     lost101 is there a different firmware for elpida and hynix memory? I flashed the firmware on another moto e (xt1022 @ 4.4.4 never updated to 5.x) and that too is stuck on bootloader. The two moto e's have the same elpida memory.
