Have you tried to boot recovery with the command fastboot reboot recovery? And what is that file named efi.img?I dont think it's the name of the recovery...

no you are wrong, b616 has 4.0.3 and b898 has emui 4.1.3;)

I've flashed that zip but the problem gets worst. I have encountered some system processes keep closing. edit: After following the installation for the second time + fix_sim.zip , the sim worked. but damn the bluetooth with a2dp doesn't pair now

This rom is smoother than dotos 1.1 but bluetooth doesn't pair with my Soundpeat QY7.

I have a scary voice distortion too and I have installed it with a full wipe . that's a pity cuz the rom was good for daily use.

Bugs that I have encountered : 1) after awhile if someone calls me through whatsapp I dont recive the call and I can't send the call. To solve I had to force close the app and reopen. 2) I can't listen directly to record calls notification by tapping.

I was using Hybrid rom b896 and I flashed with twrp 3.1.1 by persona78

I had an old recovery B58x I think so I think it won't work. I will stay with your rom now... Perfect for daily use. One more thing, I have flashed simple kernel 3.0 and eye protection doesn't work. P. S: the hand/forearm unlock is very cool :D

Try to change between Supersu and Magisk, maybe it will work with Supersu.
