yeah I managed to (barely) flash 6.0 kdz back and it turned out something different, so when I had F500L 7.0 installed phone would not give the bootloader unlocked warning nor I could flash twrp, when I managed to install 6.0 back bootloader warning popped up and everything was back to normal.

I assume you already tested different cables? if thats the case im guessing there is something wrong with your phones usb socket, because even stock rom and kernel supports otg.

I think he means serial code 601 and above are "relatively safe" but that said, they will bootloop its just matter of how long it takes and how lucky you are. (I also doubt LG still produces G4's and replacement parts for it)
